POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirement
- A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated external relationship management experience (minimum 5 years) in account management, business development, corporate relations, or community relations.
- Demonstrated internal relations experience in leading, implementing, and completing project deliverables.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships with a wide variety of constituents.
- Outstanding organizational and event management skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety driving requirements.
- A working understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and/or database systems.
- Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
- Ability to generate new prospects for meaningful corporate philanthropic support, and to inform discussions with existing philanthropic partners.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated 7-10 years external relationship management experience.
- Experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Working knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
