The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition is seeking a Pediatric GI Clinical Dietitian. This position uses Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for pediatric outpatients and inpatients. Teaches Master of Clinical Nutrition Students. Participates in multidisciplinary teams and develops nutritional components of care. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient’s status according to age.

Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Grade: 5 https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/pay-plans/seiu-pay-plan
Salary: $57,000 – Commensurate

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- A Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidates registered prior to January 01, 2024 a Bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
- Candidates registered prior to January 01, 2024 a Bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Certifications
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
- Licensure by the State of Iowa is required
