University Housing & Dining at the University of Iowa is seeking a Food Service Coordinator II for Clinton Street Market to supervise, hire, assign and coordinate the work activities of student employees and other staff as assigned. Will supervise operational set-up, a variety of food service duties/responsibilities, and maintain cleanliness of food service areas and equipment. Will also supervise admittance to food service areas and monitor cash register procedures and cash handling.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM. May require occasional overtime for special events and to cover absences.
Location: Clinton Street Market, located inside Burge Residence Hall.
During break times, work hours and location will vary based on departmental needs.

Qualifications:
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
· One year experience as a Food Service Coordinator I, or comparable experience in food distribution.
Desirable Qualifications:
· Experience developing and leading a team.
· Experience with hiring and training employees.
· Experience with scheduling and evaluating employees.
· Experience working with an inventory system such as CBORD, cost control, and preparation of basic financial reports.
· Experience with timekeeping and payroll processes and procedures.
· Experience in placing internal and external food orders.
· Experience opening and closing a work location.
· Experience working with computer software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.)
· Experience working with a diverse workforce.
· Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or food service environment.
· Customer service experience.
