Assistant Research Scientist - Neuroscience and Pharmacology (Tomchik Lab)
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in a biomedical related field, other related science program.
- Experience with microscopy.
- A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible postdoctoral experience in a relevant research laboratory environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
- Basic histology techniques (e.g., immunohistochemistry)
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word and Powerpoint
- Experience with Graphpad Prism
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to work independently while being accountable and efficient with time management.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and western blots.
- Experience with confocal microscopy.
