Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner – Infectious Diseases (Jefferson Street Clinic/Main Campus)
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- A Master’s degree is required. A Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred. If a Master’s degree is in a related field, a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is required.
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required.
- Current certification in specialty area and licensure as ARNP in state of Iowa is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to effectively communicate and establish rapport with patients and their family is required.
Desirable:
- Recent (within 3-5 years) clinical rotations and/or work experience in infectious diseases is desirable. This includes recent experience providing medical care for patient with various infectious diseases.
