Senior Application Developer – Interfaces
Education Required:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years programming experience
- Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to define system requirements, define integration requirements and understand business needs.
- Experience acting as a technical project manager or project team lead.
- Experience working with non-technical end-users to define system requirements and define business needs.
- Programming experience using a procedural language, such as C or BASIC
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to participate in after-hours on-call support.
- Experience with MS tools (e.g., Word, OneNote, Excel, and Outlook)
Desirable Qualifications:
- 5-7 years programming experience with healthcare interfaces
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and processes
- Experience with Cloverleaf interface engine
- Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- EPIC Bridges experience.
- Epic application build or integration experience
- Experience writing Unix/Linux shell scripting (BASH)
- Experience implementing interfaces in a healthcare environment.
- Experience configuring the Connexall alert management system.
