Anesthesia Clinical Technician Supervisor - 2nd Shift
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Anesthesia Clinical Technician Supervisor to lead our second shift team. As a front-line supervisor, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting our anesthesia services across the hospital. This pivotal role will provide training, supply chain and inventory management, oversight of equipment repair and maintenance, and operational management within the anesthesia workrooms.
Duties to Include:
- Staff Supervision & Management: Lead, supervise, and mentor anesthesia workroom staff, including recruiting, performance evaluations, and performance management. Ensure efficient assignments of daily tasks to staff.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Oversee the stocking, and daily inventory management of anesthesia supplies. Ensure that all necessary materials are available and properly stored for efficient workroom operations.
- Training & Development: Develop comprehensive training materials and provide training to staff on workroom procedures. Ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor workroom operations, identify inefficiencies, and provide feedback to management to achieve departmental goals and resolve service issues.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all operations comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department.

About The Department of Anesthesia

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health care or business-related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant Health Care experience.
- Recent experience leading teams or project groups (within last 3-5 years).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Strong computer skills, including PC-based Microsoft applications.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.
- Experience in supervising bargaining unit employees.
- Experience in providing training and developing training materials.
- Experience with anesthesia equipment and related technology.
- Experience with supply chain and inventory management.
